I am converting many files creating in ppt 2003 to ppt 2010. I am using the same Template in 2010 (i. Mr Ray Vst Keygen Music. e., the 2003 color scheme applied a 2010 Theme), except the 2003 template used Multiple Master slides as a work around for additional 'layouts'. When I open the 2003 file in 2010, each Master slides comes in with allot of '2003 layouts', layouts there were never used with any slides or even part of the previous template. Will these 'extra' layouts' bog the system going forward?

So far, I have been deleting them and applying the '2010 Layout' slide by slide, but it is time consuming. I am also seeing the alignment shift when importing the 2003 files into the 2010 Template.

In the 2003 files, many of the slides have center aligned text but when I bring them into the new 2010 Template, the text boxes shift to left aligned, evne though the Master slides are identical. —The Line Spacing also expands. Tagging onto the comments about extra layouts.

Instead of deleting the extra layouts and leaving the multiple masters (that are there in the first place because you didn't have customizable layouts, from what you originally said), I'd be more inclined to add new layouts to the main master and assign the incoming slides to the first master and the correct layout, then remove the additional (and no longer needed) masters. This assumes that you won't be bouncing the presentations back and forth between PPT 2003 and 2007/2010. If you need to do THAT, I'd work very hard to find a way NOT to do that. That way lies madness.
