After a couple of years of infrequent use, my printer developed a 'hardware malfunction' so now it prints with an 1 inch vertical band of very fine white lines in different locations with each subsequent phone. I spent an hour with customer service only to be told that the warranty on the hardware was only good for a year and that I could get a 15% discount on a new printer. My other epson printer lasted for many years and only needed to be replaced because it was no longer compatible with my computer software.

I ended up getting it as a Christmas present and I love it. It printed beautiful high quality photos for more myself and bright posters for my ad campaigns for my senior thesis work. I would say for you work in photography or graphic design you are going to be using it a lot and need really good prints I would highly suggest this printer.
