Geremy currently runs a very successful OpenCourt basketball club which has well over 150 players and plays in the summer AAU and NCAA circuit. The national success of his coaching and teams, got him named one of the top AAU coaches in the nation. His accolades have punched him a ticket to an NCAA basketball academy in New York, to participate in coaching international players. Geremy grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he started playing basketball at the age of 6. Geremy went to McKinley High School in Baton Rouge, where he played varsity as a freshman (which is unheard of in Louisiana because of the talent level) - his team won the 1993 Louisiana State Championship. Geremy finished his high school career as a top 100 McDonalds All-American, and a first team AAU All American - with the likes of Kobe Bryant, Shaheim Hallo way, Tim Thomas, and Lester Earl. After High School, Geremy went to Pearl River Junior College.
As a two year starter, he averaged nearly a triple-double of 27pts, 9reb, 11ast, and was a first team JuCo All American. He also led his team to two state championships and a national championship runner up, his sophomore year. After two years at Pearl River, Geremy signed to play at University of Hawaii where he set a national record of 27 points in 6-min against St Mary’s, was also United Airlines “Tip-off tournament” mvp his sophomore year. After playing at U.H., Geremy remained active with a pro basketball career since 2001, where he first played for the Globetrotters.
He has also been to training camps with Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, and L.A Lakers, and most recently has played in the Philippines PBA (January 2011), where he led his Air 21 team to the PBA semifinals. Geremy is more than qualified to teach the game to youth, with his experience and knowledge of the game of basketball on and off the court. The idea of Pro Level Training was conceived from Founder Joel Green’s desire to bring the “Pro” style of training and preparation to youth athletes. He saw that there was a need for athletes to learn how to properly prepare their minds and bodies for the game of basketball.
